Every Jet Set Line coach is a full-size luxury motorcoach seating 56 to 60 passengers. Here is how to count your group, plan for luggage and decide how many coaches you need.

Full-Size Motorcoaches, Nothing Smaller

If you are looking for a 56 passenger bus rental or a 60 passenger charter bus, that is exactly what we run. Jet Set Line operates over 30 luxury European motorcoaches from our Orlando base, and every one of them is a full-size coach. We do not keep minibuses or vans, so whatever the size of your group, you travel with an onboard restroom, reclining seats and under-floor luggage space.

Our fleet includes four models. The Setra S 417 TC seats 56. The Mercedes-Benz Tourrider Premium seats 56 to 60, depending on its configuration. The Setra S 407 and the Van Hool CX45 each seat 60. Vehicle assignment depends on your group size and on availability for your dates, so we match the coach to your head count rather than promise a specific vehicle. Maintenance is done in-house, in our own Orlando workshop.

How to Count Your Group

  • Count Every Traveler

    Include everyone who rides: chaperones, coaches, staff, volunteers and your tour guide. The driver is not part of the count, so a 56 passenger coach carries 56 travelers, each in a seat of their own.

  • Leave a Few Seats Free

    A full coach works well for a short transfer. On long trips, a few empty seats give people room to spread out, set down a jacket or move to another row, and that makes hours on the road easier.

  • Plan for the Luggage

    Suitcases ride in the under-floor bays, and smaller bags fit in the overhead storage. Very large items, such as band instruments, sports equipment bags or display cases, should be listed on your quote request.

  • Over 60 Means More Coaches

    Groups larger than 60 travel in several coaches that run together on the same schedule. One hundred people usually means two coaches, and one hundred fifty means three, each with its own driver.

Four luxury motorcoach models make up our fleet, each with a restroom, reclining seats and room underneath for the whole group's luggage.

What Every Coach Has On Board

Whichever model you ride, the basics are the same: an onboard restroom, reclining seats with footrests, climate control, seatbelts, panoramic windows and DVD entertainment, with power outlets at most seats. The Tourrider Premium and select Setra 417 coaches add a panoramic glass roof, and select coaches have HD screens with HDMI input for presentations. Wi-Fi is available as a paid add-on, so ask for it on your quote request if your group needs it.

If someone in your group uses a wheelchair, mention it when you request a quote. A wheelchair lift is available on request on select coaches, and the space it needs can change the seat count, so we plan the coach around it. Send your head count, dates and stops, and book two to four weeks ahead for most trips, or four to eight weeks for peak seasons, holidays and several coaches.

How many people fit on a 56 passenger bus?

A 56 passenger bus seats 56 travelers, each in a seat of their own. The driver has a separate seat and is not part of that number. Count chaperones, staff and guides as passengers. If your trip is a long one, leave a few seats free so everyone rides comfortably.

Do you have smaller buses or minibuses?

No. Our fleet is made up of full-size motorcoaches only, seating 56 to 60 passengers. A smaller group can still book a full-size coach and enjoy the extra room, the restroom and the luggage space. Request a quote with your head count, and your quote will show the price for your trip.

How much luggage fits on a charter bus?

Suitcases travel in the under-floor luggage bays, and backpacks, coats and small bags fit in the overhead storage inside. For airport transfers and multi-day trips, tell us roughly how many suitcases to expect. Very large items such as band instruments, equipment bags or display cases should be listed on your quote request so we can plan the load.

What if our group is bigger than 60 people?

We send several coaches that travel together on the same schedule. One hundred people usually ride in two coaches, and one hundred fifty in three, depending on luggage and comfort. Each coach has its own professional driver. Large groups should book four to eight weeks ahead, so share your final head count as early as you can.

Does a wheelchair lift change how many people fit?

It can. A wheelchair lift is available on request on select coaches, and making room for a wheelchair position can reduce the number of regular seats. Tell us about any accessibility needs when you request a quote, including how many travelers use wheelchairs, and we will plan the coach and seat count around your group.
